A London Scrapbooking Magazine requested my work

I was so excited to read my emails. I sent a pic of my scrapbook page (LO) to Creative Scrapbooking, London Magazine. Within 30 minutes I had a reply, requesting my LO! I was so thrilled. Especially knowing that they still had 2 days left for the call deadline. "The Beaches" LO will appear in the September Issue of Creative Scrapbooking.
Later that afternoon I decided I would try my luck at sending another LO, I sent "Time passes you By" with my oldest son, Jon. The editor says if they don't have enough room in the September issue it will fit in another!
I also had a reply from another London Magazine. It was to inform me that as soon as a "spot" opens up on their Design Team she will email me and we can discuss several options. I know I should't get my hopes up, but, I am still going to be excited!
I would love to be on the Gin-X DT. Ginger are you reading? LOL email me K? I would in 2 seconds flat girl! Love your creations. You are a talented artist. And you seem very down to earth as well.
Read my emails today and saw that I had a request from another web site to be on their desing team. Will have to think about this. I really want to try for the Melissa Francis DT which the calls are due, eek today! Have the LO done. I just need to upload them to the site. And wait to hear from them. With all the great talent out there I am not going to get to excited about the MFDT. I will also have to check out this new web site requesting me for a DT.
If calls keep coming like this I will be very happy! If I only had time to do more...hmmmmm. Just one step closer to my dreams!
Finally we have a break in the rain. Warm weather came yesterday and is here to stay at least through Monday. All between 75 and 85 degree weather. Finally feals like summer. Yesterday I sun bathed for about 3 hours while my boys swam in the water with their cousins. I think I got some GREAT photos too! Can't wait to get them developed.
Now if I had the new Canon Digital I wouldn't have to wait. I will be getting it someday. Just waiting for a good deal. They are still spendy. I have been pretty impressed with my HP digital that was free. I figured it would be a piece o'*#@! but works pretty well.
Well I am soon to be an Auntie again.
My sister is due in 3wks. So excited. I love babies. We are having a shower for her in a week and a half. I would like to create an album for her. But unsure if I will have time. Wanted to make some mini things for gifts at the party.
Not to mention that I still am a year behind in getting albums done for my friend. He lost his wife last year and asked me to put all their photos in scrapbooks/albums. Well I am just not to motivated by it. Kind of overwhelmed... there were was a large rubbermaid tub filled with pics. Alot to do.
Is there ever enough time in the day? How do you find time? I try to make time but it never works out well for me! Until I write again......
